§ 11-7-15. Comparative negligence

Miss. Code Ann. § 63-7-64
§ 63-7-64. Motorcycle or motor scooters; helmet requirement


No person shall operate or ride upon any motorcycle or motor scooter upon the public roads or highways of this state unless such person is wearing on his or her head a crash helmet of the type and design inspected and approved by the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators. Violation of this section shall be deemed a
violation of the traffic regulations and rules of the road and punishable as provided by section 63-9-11.

 

Ø      Mississippi Eye Protection Law: When riding on or operating a Mississippi motorcycle, eye protection is not required by law.

 

Ø      Mississippi Statute of Limitations: For personal injuries resulting from your Mississippi motorcycle accident, the statute of limitations to bring suit is 3 years from the date of the Mississippi motorcycle accident.


Miss. Code Ann. § 15-1-45

All actions founded on any judgment or decree rendered by any court of record without this state shall be brought within seven years after the rendition of such judgment or decree, and not after. However, if the person against whom such judgment or decree was or shall be rendered, was, or shall be at the time of the institution of the action, a resident of this state, such action, founded on such judgment or decree, shall be commenced within three years next after the rendition thereof, and not after.
