The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reported on August 21, 2012 a recall by T-Motorsport of one of their helmet models due to defects that could potentially not protect the wearer.

 

T-Motorsport is recalling their helmet model HY-803 in size extra large. The helmets failed impact attenuation, retention and labeling requirements. Specifically the helmet's chin straps were reported as having potential to fail therefore not protecting the motorcyclist. The resolution has not yet been determined, but the official recall is expected to be on or around this Friday, September 14, 2012.
