Motorcycle vs Motorcycle Accident Cases

We do not relish pursuing motorcyclists, however sometimes a motorcycle operator’s insurance policy is the only thing available to pursue.  If the facts support it and our client agrees, we have, on occasion, made claims against a motorcycle insurance policy. 

We have seen every kind of motorcycle accident.  Sometimes the motorcycle wreck is not caused by a car or truck or even involve a car or truck.  Sometimes the crash is because of the way the motorcycle was operated.

We typically see two kinds of motorcycle-only accidents;

1. Where a separate motorcycle hits the motorcycle you were on; and
2. Where you are a passenger on a motorcycle that goes down when there is no other vehicle involved; not a car, truck or even another motorcycle.

Some motorcycle-only cases are what we call ‘friendly’ claims.  ‘Friendly’ meaning the at-fault motorcycle operator realizes they did or may have done something that caused the crash and understands it is just about an insurance claim.  A claim to pay the damages such as noncovered medical bills and injury compensation.
